This show features news and opinion about various science subjects and the environment. Topics are separated by music selections from Americana, jazz, and pop.

Ray, an ecologist trained at California State University, Chico, and the University of California at Davis, is a horticulture instructor at Folsom Lake College’s El Dorado Center in Placerville. He serves on county committees and conservation-organization boards, has consulted on land use, forestry, and rare and endangered native plants and wetlands, and raises fruit and vegetables. Raised on a small ranch in the Central Valley, he has been a resident of Georgetown since 1978.
