Program Schedule

nature fest change 2015 600

It may be raining but there will still be plenty of fun at the 11th Annual Georgetown Arts in Nature Festival at the Georgetown School on Saturday April 25 from 9 am to 4 pm. The masterful and magical musician Joe Craven will be the featured artist of the festival which in addition to music for all ages, will include drumming groups, poetry, ethnic dancing, a kids zone with mask making and kite flying, art activities for kids and adults, a jam and slam open microphone, storytelling, nature journaling to connect with your environment in new and inspirational ways, yoga, and demonstrations on homesteading skills. There will be booths where you can purchase fine handcrafted items, learn about the many organizations that promote and protect the natural beauty of our area, and of course food booths where you can get a variety of food from vegetarian to barbeque. For updates, final schedule, and other information please visit the Friends of the Nature Area website at www.georgetownnaturearea.org or the Arts in Nature Facebook page.
