Katherine Oakey

  • Katherine‚Äôs Carousel of Musicals

Katherine began broadcasting with KFOK in 2003, when she was around her mid-20s. She has spent the majority of her life in Northern California, and she has been loving musicals ever since the mid-1980s.

Program Description: Each Sunday morning, between 9 and 10 A.M., Katherine invites you to experience a merry-go-round of melody and magic with “Katherine’s Carousel of Musicals”. Katherine loves many different types of musicals, so, over time, you’ll be able to hear a variety of show-stoppers (as well as some lesser-known songs) from Broadway shows, live-action movie musicals, animated musicals, and even T.V. musicals. Each week, you’ll not only be able to enjoy some great musical numbers, but you’ll learn some history and / or information about what you’re listening to, as well. So, are you ready for some musical magic? ūüôā
