Adopt-A-Highway Program

We clean up Hwy. 193 for a mile in each direction from Main St. each month. Come on out and help us.

Contact Cody at the office, 530-333-4335 to be notified of the next cleanup date, and more info on participating. Keep your Georgetown looking good and spiffy. We can always use the help!

As an all VOLUNTEER 501(c)3 community organization, ARFS/KFOK community radio is entirely funded by donations from our listeners and underwriters. You can help keep the very diverse music and talk programming at KFOK as well as the various community programs sponsered by ARFS going by making your donation today!

You can also make a donation to ARFS/KFOK by logging in to Paypal and click on the send money icon. Then just insert accting@kfok.org as the recipient. There is a also a note area where you can include what the payment is for ie.. donation, underwriting, membership etc..

Listen and Follow the Directions of your STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES.

IF YOU FEEL SICK, stay home. Do not got to work. 

IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE SICK, keep them at home. Contact your medical provider. 

IF YOU ARE AN OLDER PERSON, or have a serious underlying health condition, stay home and away from other people. 

If someone in your household has TESTED POSITIVE, keep the entire household at home. 

EVEN IF YOU ARE YOUNG, OR OTHERWISE HEALTHY, YOU ARE AT RISK AND YOUR ACTIVITIES CAN INCREASE THE RISK FOR OTHERS. IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU DO YOUR PART TO SLOW THE SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS. 

Work or study FROM HOME  whenever possible. 

AVOID SOCIAL GATHERINGS in groups of more than 10 people. 

Avoid eating or drinking at bars and restaurants – USE PICKUP OR DELIVERY OPTIONS. 

AVOID DISCRETIONARY TRAVEL, shopping trips, and social visits. 

DO NOT VISIT nursing homes or retirement or long-tern care facilities unless to provide critical assistance. 

ALWAYS PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE:

  • Wash your hands, especially after touching any frequently used item or surface.
  • Avoid touching your face. 
  • Sneeze or cough into a tissue, or the inside of your elbow. 
  • Disinfect frequently used items and surfaces as much as possible.
